Tilt-Up Crack Repair at the King Henry’s Building

The Challenge

The King Henry’s building (a two-story commercial building clad in white tilt-up concrete) had developed extensive cracking across its wall panels, including long structural cracks running the full height of the panels. Cracks like these let water and air reach the reinforcing steel inside, accelerating corrosion and widening over time. The walls needed a real structural repair, not a cosmetic patch, while keeping the building’s clean white face.

Our Approach

KneppKraft mapped every crack across the building and worked the full height of the walls from boom lifts. We routed the cracks, set injection ports, and bonded the concrete with epoxy crack injection under pressure, then repaired the vertical expansion joints and sealant and refinished the panels to match. As a licensed General Engineering & Building contractor (CA #547307AB), we carried the structural assessment and the repair on one accountable team.

The Result

The cracked panels were bonded back to structural integrity, the joints resealed against water intrusion, the walls refinished, and the full exterior re-painted, restoring the building’s crisp white tilt-up exterior.
